Smart Uninstaller completely removes applications, widgets, preference panes and plugins. It is a perfect tool to remove applications consisting of multiple components which are not completely gone after the application has been dragged to Trash.
By default, Smart Uninstaller is opened as the Column view. When opened, it will automatically scan your system for all applications available. You can switch to the List view if you want by clicking the corresponding button, but we recommend the Column view, as it clearly shows all your applications, widgets, preference panes and plugins. When you click one of these four categories, you will see all items it contains. If an item has a small arrow next to it, this means that you can expand it to view its components. All items are not checked by default.

Click an item to preview it. You can also view the item info using the Quick Look button and search for specific applications or their components using the Filter field.

Click the Reveal in Finder button to show the item in Finder or hover the cursor over the item and observe its location in a tooltip (available only for the Column view).

Click the checkbox to the left of the item you want to delete to select it for removal. All of its components will be automatically selected. Click Remove to delete the item with its components.

Drag and Drop Support: You can use the drag and drop functionality to quickly delete any item with its components.
